Harle Paris is delighted to support the 6th Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition, taking place in Birmingham from 3–6 September 2026.
Based in Paris, the Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition is an international arts organisation dedicated to discovering and supporting exceptional conducting talent from around the world.
For its sixth edition in Birmingham, Harle Paris is delighted to collaborate with the Competition, bringing together two organisations with connections to Paris and a shared appreciation for artistry, craftsmanship and creative excellence.
Jewellery Prizes by Harle Paris
As part of the collaboration, Harle Paris will present jewellery prizes to winners of the Competition, including mother-of-pearl and lapis lazuli cufflinks crafted in silver and a South Sea pearl brooch in silver.
Founded in Britain by jewellery designer and gemmologist Anson Law, Harle Paris is an independent fine jewellery Maison with a particular focus on coloured gemstones, natural materials and craftsmanship.
The jewellery prizes have been chosen as lasting objects of recognition — pieces that the winners can keep beyond the Competition and associate with an important moment in their artistic careers.
Celebrating Jewellery, Music and Craftsmanship
For Harle Paris, the partnership is a meaningful cultural collaboration between jewellery and classical music, celebrating craftsmanship, artistic excellence and the importance of supporting emerging talent.
Although jewellery design and conducting belong to very different creative disciplines, both require technical knowledge, years of development and the confidence to establish an individual artistic voice.
For Anson, this shared relationship between technical skill and personal expression is one of the most meaningful aspects of the collaboration.

The prizes themselves also reflect Harle Paris’s appreciation of natural materials and colour. The deep blue of lapis lazuli is combined with the natural iridescence of mother-of-pearl in the silver cufflinks, while the brooch celebrates the distinctive lustre and character of a South Sea pearl.
Supporting International Artistic Talent
Through its partnership with the Svetlanov Competition, Harle Paris is proud to contribute to an international celebration of artistic talent while continuing the Maison’s wider engagement with craftsmanship, creativity and the arts.
The Harle Paris prizes will form part of the Competition’s awards celebrations in Birmingham, marking the achievements of the winning conductors and creating a lasting connection between jewellery and an important moment in their musical careers.
